Calling all shelter supporters!
Another fun event, our annual Sip ‘N Purr, was unable to be held because of the pandemic. But, we REALLY wanted to keep it going because it’s a big help not only for us, but for the vendors who are gracious enough to participate.
So, this year the Sip ‘N Purr will be a TO GO event!
We have contacted our past vendors and asked them to provide items to be packaged in bags for purchase. We are excited to say we have secured generous sponsors so we can purchase the samples from our vendors! Small businesses have been hit so hard by the pandemic. We are excited to be able to help them this year, as they have helped us so much in the past!
The Sip ‘N Purr TO GO! bags will feature sips and snacks from:
Pieper Porch Winery, Waukesha – bottle of wine
Kenny’s Daughters, East Troy – shortbread cookies (2 packs of 3)
The Bottle Shop, Lake Geneva – varieties of wine, beer, and dog “beer”
The Cheese Box, Lake Geneva – cheese and crackers (gluten free upon request)
Hernandez Mexican Restaurant, Delavan – tortilla chips and salsa
Farmhouse Sweets, Elkhorn – paw print decorated cookie
Rushing Waters, Palmyra – 6oz. smoked trout spread
The Candle Mercantile, Lake Geneva – “Rescued” candle
Lovey’s, Elkhorn –Mayana chocolate
The Apple Barn, Elkhorn – bottle of wine
Pastries by Chad –French macarons (3)
Mershon’s Cider, Stoughton – 12 oz. bottle of hard cider
Sugar Spun, Mukwonago – 8 oz. parfait cup of cotton candy in a surprise, delicious flavor
Additional vendors are continually being added to the list! There will also be fun surprises in the bags from Lakeland Animal Shelter.
Your gift of $125 per bag (which is less than the value of the bag’s contents!) will help us continue to care for homeless animals of Walworth County – AND the transports we have from Texas!
We continually strive to save as many lives as we can. Adoption fees do not begin to cover the costs involved in caring for an animal until they are in their forever home. By purchasing a bag, you are helping us continue to provide the medical needs and care for the animals we help.

Shipping is NOT available. Pick up of the bags will be Friday, February 25th and Saturday, February 26th from 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. at The Bottle Shop, Lake Geneva
Fun raffle baskets will also be available – including a wagon full of Tito’s swag! Tickets are available for $5 each or 5 for $20.
