We are excited to announce the launch of our 15th annual $90,000 in 90 Days Campaign!

Our goal is to raise $90,000 between March 30th and June 30th for animals in need of medical care treatment at Lakeland Animal Shelter.

In 2024, we provided lifesaving care at the shelter to at least 4,500 homeless animals that required over $250,000 in funding for care.
We anticipate many animals coming to Lakeland Animal Shelter in 2025 will be in dire need of medical intervention to save their lives and/or greatly improve their quality and length of life. We are hopeful with your support of our 2025 90k in 90 Days Campaign, we will have the funds needed to support this care. Please consider a gift today to help Mya, Allie, Rudder and thousands of wonderful animals like them waiting for your help.

Thank you for your support!

Meet “The Girls”!

Mya, Allie and Rudder are a trio of senior dogs that came to our shelter a few months ago when their owner died unexpectantly.

When there were no family members that could take “the girls” the Shelter was contacted to help. Mya, Allie, and Rudder were scared and confused when our staff members came to their house that evening to pick them up, but they trusted that they were being taken to a place where they would be loved and cared for even if it was not the home they had known and loved.

Thankfully, we were able to keep the girls together once they got to our shelter and they quickly acclimated to their new setting together. Being senior dogs, Mya, Allie and Rudder all needed to be updated on their checkups and vaccinations. They also needed dental procedures and tumor removals before they could be ready to find a new family together. The girls were excellent patients and they recovered quickly from their tests, procedures, and vaccinations and adjusted very quickly to their new routine at the shelter with so many walks, treats and love from Shelter staff and volunteers. We were hopeful that we could find a new loving home for them that would want to keep them together as they had been their whole lives.

We are pleased to share with you that a very kind and caring adopter fell in love with Mya, Allie and Rudder and has ADOPTED ALL THREE GIRLS TOGETHER!!! It was truly a joyous day for all of us here at the Shelter! The girls are a perfect example as to why the 90 in 90 medical expense drive is so crucial to our ability to provide care needed even for animals that just recently came from a loving home. Donors like you make this care possible. We want to thank you for your ongoing support of our mission to care for the thousands of homeless animals in need of our care each year.

Please consider giving to our 90 in 90 Medical Expense Drive to (262) 723-1000 ensure that many others like the girls can have the same kind of care and happy ending.
