Dogs

I first came to the shelter in June of 2007, and have been waiting for a home for over 2 years!  After a year and a half in the shelter, I thought I had found my lifelong home.  But less than 2 weeks after I found a new person, his living arrangements changed, and I found myself right back here.  I love my friends here at the shelter, but I would rather be in a home with room to play and lots of toys!  I can be very choosy about my canine friends, so advance meetings with any canine companions are a must, or even better would be a home where I could be an only dog!

I came to the shelter as a stray in March.  Unfortunately, the people at the shelter discovered I was heartworm positive.  I am currently undergoing antibiotic therapy in preparation for my heartworm treatment.

I am a high-energy, playful young dog who needs an active home.  Anyone interested in adopting me must be willing to take me to obedience class!

I am a very sweet older dog.  I have very limited vision, and I rely on my other senses and my companion dog to get around!  If I can't be placed with my buddy Toby (we have been together all Toby's life); I would still be happiest placed with another dog.

I am very playful, extremely high energy and I love to play with tennis balls.  I have been with Casey my whole life!
